I agree with tceisele that the taxonomists need to be more imaginative with their naming conventions.  :)</description>

		<description>I think it's probably related to &lt;a href="http://somethingscrawlinginmyhair.com/2008/02/09/cutworms/" rel="nofollow"&gt;the second caterpillar on this page&lt;/a&gt;, that I found in our rhubarb patch last spring.  I posted it to Bug Guide to see if they could ID it, and people there basically threw up their hands and said, "it's a brown caterpillar, what do you expect? Miracles? Probably some kind of cutworm."  So, OK, I guess we can go with "cutworm" and leave it at that.

The taxonomists should try to be more imaginative in their naming.  "Sororiplopidae" has a nice ring to it.</description>

		<description>That is the much lauded &lt;i&gt;brownius caterpilliaris&lt;/i&gt;, a very popular species of caterpillar out where I used to live.  Known for dropping out of trees onto unsuspecting sisters, especially when the "tree" was me, dropping it on their heads.</description>
