She made them out of clay, life size, and put smiley faces on them. Hilarious. I was actually just playing with some of these last night: our public library had a sort of "insect fest" event that we took our daughter to, and she couldn't tear herself away from the hissing cockroach area (they were being harnessed up to little paper sleds to see how many pennies they could tow. They could manage about 10 times their own weight, as it turns out). We might have to get her some of her own at some point. Given the memories they’d stir up for you, I’m assuming that you don’t want some of these then.
